Add your content
Your QR content is processed in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
Make it your own
Use a hex color like #1a2b3c.
Frames sit outside the quiet zone, so they never cover the code.
Keep at least 4 for reliable scanning.
Large logos may reduce QR scanning reliability.
Your logo is processed locally in your browser. It is never uploaded.
Higher levels let the code scan even when part of it is covered or damaged, but make it denser.

How it works
How to make a Text to QR code
1Type or paste your text
Anything up to 3,000 characters. The counter shows how much you have used.
2Watch the density
More text means more, smaller dots. Keep it short for codes printed small or scanned from far away.
3Download
PNG for screens and quick prints, SVG for large prints that must stay crisp.
Features
When plain text is the right choice
Works offline
No website is involved. Scanning shows the text instantly, even in basements, planes or remote sites.
Stays private
Your text is turned into a code on your device and never sent to a server.
Any language
Text is encoded as UTF-8, so accents, Hindi, Arabic, Chinese and emoji are supported.
Use cases

Guide
How much text fits in a QR code?
A single QR code holds at most about 2,900 bytes. Simple English letters take one byte each, while accented and non-Latin characters take two to four. The error correction level also changes the limit:
| Error correction | Approximate maximum |
|---|---|
| L (7%) | 2,953 bytes |
| M (15%, default) | 2,331 bytes |
| Q (25%) | 1,663 bytes |
| H (30%) | 1,273 bytes |
In practice, keep printed text codes under about 300 characters so they scan quickly. For longer content, publish it on a web page and use a link QR code instead.
Does a text QR code need internet?
No. The text is stored inside the code, so the phone displays it without connecting to anything.
What happens if my text is too long?
You will see a message explaining the limit. Shorten the text or switch to error correction L, which fits the most.
Can I use line breaks and emoji?
Yes. Line breaks, accented letters and emoji are all encoded in UTF-8, which modern phones read correctly.
Can I change a static QR code later?
No. Once it is printed, a static code always contains the same content. If the details might change, point the code to a web page you control, then update that page instead. Or create a new code.
Do you see or store what I type?
No. The code is generated by JavaScript in your browser. Your content, WiFi passwords and logos are never sent to our server, and we keep no database of codes.
