Keep at least 4 for reliable scanning.
Large logos may reduce QR scanning reliability.
Your logo is processed locally in your browser. It is never uploaded.

Guide
What keeps a styled code scannable
- Contrast: dark dots on a light background, with a ratio of at least 4:1. We show the ratio live and warn below that.
- Quiet zone: keep an empty border of at least 4 modules around the code. Frames are drawn outside it, never over it.
- Corner squares: they tell the phone where the code is. Rounded and circle corners are fine; very light corner colors are not.
- Inverted colors: light dots on dark backgrounds fail on some phones, so we warn you when you choose them.
- Gradients: both gradient colors need enough contrast with the background. The check tests each one.
Do rounded or dot shapes scan as well as squares?
Yes, with modern phone cameras. Dots are slightly smaller than squares, so for very small prints or dense codes, squares scan fastest.
Can I use my brand colors?
Yes. Enter any hex color. If a color is too light against the background, you will see a contrast warning before you download.
Can I make the background transparent?
Yes, in the Colors tab. Transparent codes may not scan on every background, so preview them on white, gray and dark and place them on a plain, light surface.
Are the templates really free?
Yes. All templates and design options are free to use, including for business.
Can I download SVG?
Yes. Open the download menu and choose SVG. SVG is a vector file that stays sharp at any size, which makes it the best choice for printing on posters, packaging and signs.
