    How it works

How to make a Phone QR code

    1. 1Enter your number

Include the country code, like +91, +1 or +44, so it works for visitors from anywhere.

    2. 2We tidy the format

Spaces, dashes and brackets are removed automatically. The + stays.

    3. 3Download and test

Scan it with your own phone to check it opens the dialler with the right number.

    Features

Every smartphone understands it. Nothing is dialled until the person taps call.

    No wrong numbers

People do not have to read and retype your number from a sign.

    Works for years

As long as the number is yours, the code keeps working.

    Questions

Why do I need the country code?

Without it, the number only works for callers in your own country. With +91, +1 or +44 in front, it works from anywhere.

    Does scanning call immediately?

No. The phone app opens with the number filled in, and the person decides whether to call.

Can I use a landline number?

Yes. Any number that can be dialled works, including landlines and toll-free numbers.

Does a static QR code expire?

No. The content is part of the pattern itself, so there is nothing to switch off. A static code keeps working as long as the printed image is readable. If it points to a web page, that page does need to stay online.

Do you see or store what I type?

No. The code is generated by JavaScript in your browser. Your content, WiFi passwords and logos are never sent to our server, and we keep no database of codes.
